We are looking for an experienced investor and/ or former entrepreneur/ operator to help drive redalpine's mission of backing transformative software and science companies. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in building businesses, combined with a proven track record of high-impact investments.

This role offers the opportunity to shape redalpine's investment strategy, lead deals from sourcing to execution, and actively support the growth of portfolio companies. It includes mentoring and developing the investment team, collaborating closely with visionary founders, and taking ownership of investments and end-to-end. Based in the Greater Zurich area, the role is part of a high-performing international team, driven to identify and support the next generation of category-defining companies. 

Investment Process & Deal Flow

• Manage the full investment process with high autonomy, from deal sourcing and valuation to due diligence, leading transactions and closing deals.

• Drive high-quality deal flow and secure top founders before competitors.

Portfolio Management & Value Creation

• Act as an active board member, representing redalpine’s interests while driving impactful outcomes for portfolio companies.

• Champion the Portfolio Success Program and serve as a trusted advisor to founders on critical strategic decisions, fundraising, and scaling challenges.

Thought Leadership & Representation 

• Conduct research and analysis in key sectors like healthcare or life sciences to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities. 

• Represent redalpine as a thought leader, promoting the firm’s expertise and attracting high-caliber startups to foster exclusive deal flow.

Industry & Network Expansion

• Leverage and expand redalpine’s network to source top-tier deals and establish strategic partnerships with funds, investors, and industry leaders. 

• Represent the firm at panels and industry events, driving LP engagement and supporting fundraising efforts to strengthen redalpine’s credibility.

Leadership & Role Modeling

• Mentor and manage investment team members, taking full responsibility for recruitment and development while fostering a growth-oriented environment.

• Collaborate closely with partners and teams to drive a high-performance culture, embodying redalpine’s values and serving as a role model.
